The Fantasy Art of The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth - Evil Campaign Information and Cutscenes

Battle for Middle Earth is a fantasy strategy video game that loosely follows J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings and very closely follows the visualization in the Peter Jackson (director) Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy.

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth includes two single-player Campaigns: Good and Evil. These Campaigns are based on the novel, and closely follows the Peter Jackson movie version (e.g., the Uruk-Hai Lurtz, who does not appear in the novels), but the actual outcome of key events are tilted toward Good or Evil. In the case of the Evil Campaign, the sequence of events is entirely speculative, where the forces of Light win no key battles and the Ring is recovered at Shelob's Lair. Heroes are defeated time and again, but for plot or game challenge reasons resurface later. The campaign ends with a successful siege of Minas Tirith. On this page, we feature the fantasy art / game artwork of Battle for Middle Earth in various campaign cutscenes from plot advancing missions.
