The Fantasy Art of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Light Arena Raiment

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a first-person perspective fantasy computer role-playing game set in a vast 3D world with an open-ended storyline that allows the player the freedom to pursue the main quest, side quests, or simply explore the world. The game is set in a different geographic location from the previous in the series (Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind) and in general the architecture and wildlife is more medieval and real-world. The fantasy game art is vastly improved, however, and at the time of its release wowed the world with its realism and attention to physics in its interactivity. This page shows Light Arena Raiment in the game. This is part of an extensive fantasy art / game art gallery of armor in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. For an overview of the armor gallery, click here.

Arena Armour is part of the standard gear assigned to all Arena combatants in the Imperial City. It comes in two basic styles -- Light and Heavy -- and three colour schemes -- Blue, Yellow, and the very different predominantly red Raiment of Valor worn by the Arena Grand Champion.

There are many similarities to Pit Armor, but there is no helmet or shield, and the armor is a one-piece -- it covers the locations for cuirass, greaves, gauntlets, and boots and these parts cannot be worn separately.

Mods typically chop off the most pieces for the Light Arena armour, and unlike other ensembles in Colourwheel's Sexy Stock Armour and Clothing Replacer, Light Arena armour was trimmed down to more or less a skimpy bikini. The Raiment of Valor received even more trimming into a slightly different outfit.
