There is a scene included in the YouTube playlist that shows Markal confronted by Silver City heroes (on elephants). In this mission, Markal must avoid the patrols of the Silver Cities until he can ally the Griffin Empire to him. If he fails to elude the wizards of the Silver Cities, the mission fails with this scene, which hints that Markal is either undead or planning to live on in undeath.
