The Fantasy Art of Neverwinter Nights 2 - Screenshots of Places and Scenes - Finale and Epilogue

Neverwinter Nights 2 is a 3D role-playing game set in the Forgotten Realms. The fantasy game art for creatures closely, if not exactly, matches the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition roleplaying game and some of it was probably simply imported from the previous game, Neverwinter Nights game. This page of fantasy art from the Neverwinter Nights 2 computer roleplaying game has screenshots of assorted locations and scenes from the finale and epilogue to the first campaign against the King of Shadows (commonly called the 'Original Campaign' or OC). Of the three campaigns, the original campaign has the best cinematics and the most exciting final battle.

The King of Shadows is first glimpsed in the introduction to Neverwinter Nights 2, where it fights Ammon Jerro and breaks the Silver Sword of Gith.

Before the final battle with Black Garius, he tries to turn companions against the protagonist. Depending on the protagonist's positive influence on them, each will either stay loyal, side with Garius, or have a positive contribution. Neeshka, for example, can break the binding on her and stand against Black Garius; Bishop can be convinced to leave. The videos below shows some possible mix of reactions.

An alternative evil ending.
