Master of the Wood Element, a Summoner excels at summoning countless numbers of insects to attack an opponent. They can also tame and summon monsters, and each monster will even have their own set of statistics. They can even make tamed monsters learn skills and will use her own soul in order for the monsters to learn them.
A Summoner has skills that can restore up to 50% of their mana. A Summoner can turn into a fox, enabling her to attack opponents head on with powerful debuffing spells. Unfortunately, these skills require magic weapons in order to execute.
A Summoner can easily destroy enemies because there is a pet aiding them--Most of the time, a Summoner uses their pet as a tank and continually destroys the enemy. There will be times that the monster will switch targets, but still with excellent timing and careful retreat, a Summoner can avoid harm.
Player versus Player
They are actually good in PvP especially when a pet is there to aid them. They can do a fair amount of damage and even have skills that protect them from other major damages.
Although Summoners can be excellent fighters, they can also function as debuffers--Summoners have the skill to remove any positive buffs on the target and can disable or weaken them further. Summoners are sometimes referred as the anti-catapult since they can destroy a catapult carrier so well--Since catapult carriers are more often times a Hard Armor type character, their magic defense is typically very poor. Unfortunately, a quick shot of arrows or a barrage of physical skills or even a powerful attack by an enemy pet can kill a Summoner instantly.
