In Samantha Swift and the Hidden Roses of Athena, archeologist Samantha Swift has stumbled upon one of the greatest archeological finds in our lifetime! But Sam's quest to piece together the mystery and artifacts of the Roses of Athena is not without obstacles - she'll have to use her keen eyesight to pick out clues, while she out-wits the greedy treasure hunter, Ravena Stryker in this hidden object adventure!

On her quests, intrepid young archaeologist Samantha Swift travels around the globe and encounters hidden and fantastic locations. The game action involves finding objects hidden in each scene, followed by solving a puzzle in order to advance further into the story. Most of the fantasy art in the Samantha Swift games is in the exotic locations and the often magical puzzles.

is the first adventure in the hidden object game series, and establishes the supporting characters, mastermind villain, and plot framework/sequence that carry over into later games. In this adventure, she pursues magical rose-shaped jewels to complete a shield supposedly given to mortals by the Greek goddess Athena herself.
