Ninja Blade is a third-person action game involving stylish sword-fighting, extensive use of cinematic sequences, and epic monsters. It plays like an anime with superpowered martial arts and action on an epic scale. The fantasy artwork here is a mix of stylish, modernized ninja juxtaposed on a very medieval/magical look and feel to the weapons. Although the initial action suggests zombie-like adversaries, most monsters and bosses are simply monstrous-looking.
This page of fantasy game art from Ninja Blade has scenes from Mission 1. The interactive portion of Mission 1 ends when Arachne is defeated. Unlike the other adversaries encountered, its body does not conveniently burn up into nothingness. It does, however, conveniently vanish despite its enormous mass and we can assume that it somehow crawls away (to where?) after the surprising betrayal of the ninja team at the end of Mission 1. Even if we assume that it dies, the cleanup would have to have been on a colossal scale. These minor details are not addressed as the story swiftly moves on.
